The Edgerton History Hop is a free, half-day heritage bus and walking tour that explores the local history of Edgerton, WI. The event runs from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, starting at the Edgerton Public Library.The Hop takes participants to four major heritage sites in the Edgerton area. Stops on the tour include:Edgerton Public Library: The starting point for event registration, check-ins, and early-morning tours.Sterling North Museum: The restored 1900s childhood home of author Sterling North, best known for his classic children's novel Rascal.Albion Academy Museum: A restored 1850s academy site built by the Seventh Day Baptist community.Jacobus Pottery Studio/Log Cabin: A preserved site honoring Edgerton's rich history of regional artisan pottery and early pioneer life.The event typically features guided bus transportation, drop-in self-guided visits, live music, hands-on craft displays, and a picnic lunch.

Boo Mullarky is the amazing one-human jug band medicine show, featuring Boo pumping out deep ragtime blues and Cajun tunes on a unique ensemble of old car horns, bells, a steel resonator guitar, kazoo, an old suitcase for a drum, and a washboard...all at once! Steeped in the steam of the Gulf Coast marshes, Boo grew up on both sides of the Sabine River, dividing his early world between the lonesome cattle calls of Texas and the high-spirited mournful Cajun wail of Southern Louisiana. With the haunting moan of the swamp and that throbbing Delta backbeat pulse, all peppered up with some fancy finger work and tales of the pavement, Boo colors his songs with a rich homegrown flavor that just can’t be manufactured!
